4 Purposes of processing

4.1 Cookies

Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. For example, information on the operating system, the browser, your IP address, the website you previously called up (referrer URL) as well as the date and time of your visit to our website are recorded. Cookies can be used to find out which websites are preferred. This enables us to better tailor the content of our pages to our web visitors and optimise our offers. Furthermore, this information is used to automatically recognize you on your next visit to our website and to make navigation easier for you. Cookies allow us, for example, to adapt a website to your interests or to save your password so that it is not necessary to enter it again. Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transfer viruses to a computer.

It is also possible to use our websites without cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognized, you can prevent cookies from being stored on your hard drive by selecting "do not accept cookies" in your browser settings. Please refer to the instructions of your browser manufacturer for details of how this works. If you do not accept cookies, this may lead to functional restrictions of our offers. You can delete cookies already set on your computer at any time. Alternatively, you can set your browser to block cookies from our domain. This is done by means of opt-out cookies. We would like to point out that you may not delete the opt-out cookies for the latter as long as you do not wish to record measurement data. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you will have to set the respective opt-out cookie again.

4.2 Server data / Server-Log-Files

For technical reasons, the following data, among others, which your Internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider, is recorded. This data includes:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
  • Website that you visit
  • Date and time of your access
  • Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and cannot be assigned to specific persons. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to be able to optimise our Internet presence and our offers. We reserve the right to check this data subsequently if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.

4.3 Newsletter

With the newsletter we inform you at regular intervals about us and our offers. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner agrees to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected. This data will only be used for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site is not carried out.

When you register for the newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of registration. This storage is only used as proof in the event that a third party misuses an e-mail address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the entitled party.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. To revoke your consent, simply send an informal message by e-mail to or unsubscribe using the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing procedures already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

4.4 Newsletter-Tracking

Our newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels (web bugs), which enable us to recognize whether and when an e-mail was opened and which links in the e-mail were followed by the personalized recipient.

This data is stored by us so that we can tailor our newsletter optimally to the wishes and interests of our subscribers. Accordingly, the data thus collected is used to send personalised newsletter to the respective recipient. We ask you to give your consent to this at the appropriate place. By revoking your consent to receive the newsletter, your consent to the aforementioned tracking is also revoked.

4.5 Contact form

On our website we offer you the possibility to contact us by e-mail or via a contact form. In this case, only the information you provide will be saved (first name, last name, e-mail address, subject, message). We use your data only for processing your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions. Your data will then be deleted, unless you have agreed to further processing and use. Legal obligations - especially retention periods - remain unaffected. The data collected in this way will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. A comparison of the data with data that may have been collected by other components of our site is also not carried out.

4.6 Google Analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Provider of the web analysis service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses "cookies." These are small text files that your web browser stores on your end device and enable an analysis of website use. For example, information on the operating system, the browser, your IP address, the website you have previously visited (referrer URL) and the date and time of your visit to our website are recorded. Information about your use of our website generated by means of cookies is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Server location is usually the USA. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. If required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google, Google will also pass this information on to these third parties. This use will be anonymous or pseudonymised. You can find more detailed information about this directly at Google.

You can find more information on the handling of user data at Google Analytics in the Google data protection declaration:

4.6.1 IP anonymization function

We use Google Analytics in conjunction with the IP anonymisation function. It ensures that Google truncates your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before sending it to the USA, thereby making it anonymous. There may be exceptional cases in which Google transfers the full IP address to a server in the USA and shortens it there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to create reports on website activities and to provide us with further services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

4.6.2 Browser Plugin

The setting of cookies by your web browser can be prevented. However, some functions of our website could be restricted as a result. Likewise, you can prevent the collection of data regarding your website usage, including your IP address and subsequent processing by Google. This is possible by downloading and installing the browser plugin accessible via the following link:

4.6.3 Order processing

To fully comply with the legal data protection requirements, we have concluded a contract with Google for order processing.

4.6.4 Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

Our website uses the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. It can be used to generate reports that contain information about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google and from visitor data from third parties. It is not possible to assign the data to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time. You can do this through the ad settings in your Google Account or by generally preventing Google Analytics from collecting your information as explained in the section "Opting out of data collection".

4.7 Google AdWords

Our web presence uses Google Conversion Tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is a service of the company Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA.

If you have reached our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify you. If you visit certain pages on our site and the cookie hasn't expired, we and Google may know that you, as a user, clicked on one of our ads placed on Google and were redirected to our site. The information collected by the cookies is used by Google to compile visit statistics for our website. These statistics tell us the total number of users who have clicked on our advertisement and also which pages of our website were subsequently called up by each user. However, we or other advertisers using Google AdWords do not receive any information that can be used to identify users personally.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly, e.g. by changing your browser settings to generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies or specifically to block only cookies from the domain "". You can obtain the relevant Google privacy policy from the following link:

4.8 Google Maps

We use the component "Google Maps" of the company Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google" on our website.

-data. This cookie is usually not deleted by closing the browser, but expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand.

If you do not agree with this processing of your data, there is the possibility to deactivate the service of "Google Maps" and thus prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the Java-Script function in your browser. We would like to point out, however, that in this case you will not be able to use "Google Maps", or only to a limited extent.

The use of "Google Maps" and the information obtained via "Google Maps" is subject to the Google Terms of Use and the additional terms and conditions for "Google Maps

4.9 Facebook-Like components

This process informs Facebook which specific page of our website you are currently visiting. If you visit our site and are logged in to Facebook during this time, Facebook recognizes which specific page you are visiting through the information collected by the component and assigns this information to your personal account on Facebook. For example, if you click on the "Like" button or make corresponding comments, this information is transmitted to your personal user account on Facebook and stored there. In addition, the information that you have visited our site will be transferred to Facebook. This happens regardless of whether you click on the component or not.
We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook.
