HPS Home Power Solutions offers digital Academy for sales partners

Berlin, 28 July 2022

HPS Home Power Solutions (HPS), the world’s leading provider of green hydrogen-based year-round electricity storage for buildings, has set up a digital learning platform for sales partners with its HPS Academy. This enables HPS to share the knowledge and experience around the sale of the year-round picea electricity storage system with its sales partners and prepare them in the best possible way for their own sales success. The launch of the digital Learning Management System (LMS) took place in March 2022. Since then, more than 130 companies have already registered. The digital HPS Academy is thus an important component for the expansion of the partner network.

“The digitalisation of our training process is an essential milestone in the implementation of our sales strategy. We want to organise our sales via partners and thus tap into the planned growth. The high demand and the positive resonance from our sales partners show that we have taken the right path by setting up our own platform. The HPS Academy is an important tool to expand our network with qualified sales partners on site for our customers and to meet the dynamically growing demand for picea,”

comments Zeyad Abul-Ella, founder and CEO of HPS.

In the HPS Academy, pre-qualified partners can find training videos all around HPS, the picea year-round electricity storage system and joint sales. With this, HPS is repositioning sales training and offering an innovative approach to knowledge transfer. The aim of the digital learning platform is to achieve the best possible preparation for customer meetings. After successful completion of the HPS Academy, each participating partner receives a certificate including the corresponding marketing documents. This makes the business a recognised partner for the consultation and sale of picea.

“Thanks to the extensive and professional training provided by the HPS Academy, we feel very familiar with picea. We have internalised how it works and the special features of the year-round electricity storage system and all open questions have been answered. We are pleased to be part of the HPS sales network and to be able to offer our customers a unique solution for sustainable and CO2-free energy generation as well as independence from rising electricity prices,”

says Christine Liebchen, Managing Director of Toni Meier GmbH from Bavaria, one of the specialist companies that successfully completed the training.

About picea:

picea is the world’s first commercially available hydrogen-based year-round electricity storage system for buildings. The surplus energy generated by the photovoltaic system on sunny days is stored as green hydrogen and used in the dark season to supply electricity and heat. picea enables a CO2-free full supply of energy all year-round and reduces heating costs. Per year, a picea system avoids about three tons of CO2 emissions and this is equivalent to the amount that 130 spruce trees capture annually. picea has received several prestigious awards, most recently the Handelsblatt Energy Award, the Smarter E Award 2021 and the Sustainability Challenge 2022 of the German Sustainable Building Council.
